Production\/Process Engineer \u2013 Paint Plant
\nPrimary Responsibilities
\nThe paint plant engineer is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, quality control, industrial safety, and the continuous improvement of operations related to the production of paints, coatings, and related chemical products.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/em>
\n\u00b7 Optimize production parameters to improve quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
\n\u00b7 Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
\n\u00b7 Analyze technical issues in production and propose corrective solutions.
\n\u00b7 Collaborate with laboratory, maintenance, quality, and logistics teams.
\n\u00b7 Inspect raw materials and finished products according to technical specifications.
\n\u00b7 Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare technical reports.
\n\u00b7 Participate in internal audits and regulatory inspections.
\n\u00b7 Train production staff on best operational and safety practices.
\n\u00b7 Oversee the maintenance and improvement of industrial equipment.
\n\u00b7 Manage continuous improvement and loss reduction projects.<\/p>\n

Required Skills<\/strong><\/em>
\n\u00b7 Strong knowledge of chemical and industrial processes.
\n\u00b7 Proficiency with production and quality control equipment.
\n\u00b7 Analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n\u00b7 Project management and continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma is a plus).
\n\u00b7 Skills in industrial IT and technical software.
\n\u00b7 Strong communication and teamwork skills.
\n\u00b7 Active participation in operations and hands-on resolution of technical issues on the shop floor.<\/p>\n

Education and Experience<\/strong><\/em>
\n\u00b7 Degree in chemical engineering, industrial engineering, process engineering, or mechanical engineering.
\n\u00b7 Experience in the chemical, paint, or coatings industry (preferred).
\n\u00b7 Knowledge of regulations governing chemicals and hazardous materials.<\/p>\n
