Peintures MF is looking for a chief accountant to join our team in Laval. The candidate will be tasked with implementing the best working methods to meet the company’s objectives. They must hold a CPA title and have 3 to 5 years of experience. The ideal candidate is able to solve problems and communicate effectively. They have the ability to analyze a situation in depth to identify factors and find the best solutions. They are methodical.<\/p>\n

    RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    • Participate in the month-end process<\/li>\n
    • Prepare monthly adjustments<\/li>\n
    • Assist in year-end processes<\/li>\n
    • Review and ensure proper accounting of various invoices<\/li>\n
    • Process payroll<\/li>\n
    • Prepare GST\/QST returns<\/li>\n
    • Monitor daily bank reconciliations<\/li>\n
    • Reconcile supplier accounts and support the accounts payable team<\/li>\n
    • Continuously improve our internal processes<\/li>\n
    • Perform any other tasks of the same nature or general order related to the job, requested by the superior or required by the functions<\/li>\n
    • Any other projects or related tasks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING PROFILE:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) title<\/li>\n
      • 3 to 5 years of experience<\/li>\n
      • Advanced knowledge of Excel<\/li>\n
      • Rigorous work ethic and organizational skills<\/li>\n
      • Perfectly bilingual in English and French, both written and spoken<\/li>\n
      • Results-oriented with good oral and written communication skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        FACTORY ENGINEER<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Full-time position<\/strong><\/p>\n

        Peintures MF is looking for a factory engineer to join our team in Laval. The factory engineer will design, plan, and supervise the implementation of new and existing equipment as part of various projects in our production facilities. They will also assist in the planning of production and order shipment. The ideal candidate is able to solve problems and communicate effectively. They have the ability to analyze a situation in depth to identify factors and find the best solutions. When necessary, they will be creative and innovative in their ability to solve situations.<\/p>\n

          SUPERVISION:<\/strong>\u00a0Manage production based on stock movements. Supervise inventories of finished products and raw materials. Place stocks and ensure shelf maintenance.\u00a0OPTIMIZATION:<\/strong>\u00a0Reuse errors or inventory rework to reduce losses;\u00a0ADVICE AND DESIGN:<\/strong>\u00a0Advise and direct team members in all engineering needs required for assigned projects.\u00a0PROJECT MANAGEMENT:<\/strong>\u00a0Plan projects based on drawings, sketches, plans, and other data.\u00a0MARKET PROSPECTING:<\/strong>\u00a0Identify markets for future product development and find ways to improve sales of existing products by analyzing business trends.<\/p>\n
